Spire Founder – What inspired you to start Quikr?

Pranay Chulet –  I started Quikr because I saw a huge gap in the market for a platform that could connect buyers and sellers of used goods in an easy and efficient way. I wanted to make the process of buying and selling second-hand items as simple and transparent as possible.

Spire Founder – What are some of the biggest challenges you have faced as CEO of Quikr?

Pranay Chulet –  One of the biggest challenges has been to constantly innovate and stay ahead of the curve. The market is very dynamic and we need to be able to adapt quickly to changes in consumer behavior and preferences. Another challenge has been to build a strong team that is able to execute our vision.

Spire Founder – How has Quikr evolved since its inception?

Pranay Chulet – Quikr has evolved significantly since its inception. We started out as a platform for buying and selling used goods, but have since expanded to include services such as real estate, jobs, and cars. We have also introduced new features such as instant messaging and online payments to make the user experience more seamless.

Spire Founder – What sets Quikr apart from other online classifieds platforms?

Pranay Chulet – Quikr is a platform that is designed for the Indian market. We have a deep understanding of the needs of Indian consumers and have tailored our services to meet those needs. Pranay Chulet – The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Quikr, as it has on many businesses. However, we have been able to adapt quickly and have introduced new features such as online payments and contactless delivery to ensure that our users can continue to transact safely during these challenging times.

Spire Founder – What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

Pranay Chulet – My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to have a clear vision and to be persistent in pursuing that vision. You will face many challenges along the way, but it is important to stay focused on your goals and to be willing to take risks and learn from your mistakes.

Spire Founder – What are some of the key trends you see in the Indian e-commerce market?

Pranay Chulet – One of the key trends we are seeing in the Indian e-commerce market is the rapid growth of mobile commerce. More and more people are using their smartphones to shop online, and this trend is expected to continue in the coming years. 

We are also seeing a growing demand for hyper-local services, such as home services and on-demand delivery, as consumers look for more convenience and flexibility in their lives.
